When the Sand Dries
“When the Sand Dries”
I love when firm sand cracks beneath my feet
So hard on the surface but brittle underneath
Much like our international system, various footprints cover the landscape
One indent building upon another
Manufacturing a noticeable reshape
Only until the wind blows and the tide rolls over, do the man-made masterpieces have their chance of exposure
The ground is now uneven
Causing stability to weaken
Driven by societal pressures
Living in the Garden of Eden
Humans have gone throughout history, with time remaining a mystery
No way to date the start and end
Simply breathing is a victory
In every country, no matter the status, the struggle for all is the same
Making a living to take care of the family, while trying to maintain a positive frame
Here in the United States
We truly are no different
We are capable of finding understanding without getting too frustrated and belligerent
We’re playing a petty game of diversion
Clickbait is a direct inversion
Dismissing the lessons of the Lord is creating the most detrimental aversion
Hearts to turn cold
Minds to be controlled
Bodies injected and mangled
If love is not acted upon and told
4 Acrylic Paintings, 18" x 24", 10" x 20" & 10" x 20" & 10" x 20"
